Adobe InDesign CC Font Issues
A problem that all InDesign CC users have come across is missing fonts – fonts not being recognised by InDesign.
Maybe you’ve installed the font and InDesign still doesn’t recognise it.
When you try installing with font book it warns you of a serious error with the font.
Or maybe the font has been copied and pasted too many times and the font is corrupted and simply not installing.
Whatever the cause of your issue I intend to explain a quick and simple way to solve the majority of font issue – in fact I haven’t had an issue yet that I haven’t been able to solve with this method.

InDesign thinks the font is missing:
STEP 1
Right click to copy the font you want Indesign to recognise
STEP 2
In Finder navigate to Applications and select Adobe InDesign CC.
STEP 3
Click on the Fonts folder in the Adobe InDesign CC Application
STEP 4
Right click in the Fonts folder and paste the missing font
When you return to InDesign your font problem should be solved:
